Tinsley Zhu

Tinsley Zhu is a freshman studying IEOR at UC Berkeley. She was born and raised in China. Although growing up in the same city for 18 years, she experienced different culture through volunteering abroad, participating in English corner, and of course, watching channels around the world. The diversity of culture fascinated her and encouraged her to contribute to the international community. It is her goal to help international students feel like home in the US and to raise their voice… Joining Advisory Committee in ISAC, she hopes to build a more collaborative and enjoyable international community at Cal and to provide useful advice to address students’ needs. She has a variety of hobbies including singing, tennis, travelling, magic, playing chess, watching suspense movies. On top of all that, she loves meeting new people and trying out new things.
