Nicole is a sophomore majoring in Environmental Sciences and intending to double minor. As a Taiwanese Malaysian, she grew up on the small island of Penang before coming to Berkeley in pursuit of her degree. She joined ISAC to help the international community in hopes of aiding new students transitioning better and providing network opportunities. Immersing herself in her university experience, she is exploring new places and trying new activities such as mentoring and dancing. Hoping to embark on an environmental career pathway, she is passionate about environmental issues especially about sustainability and energy. Here at Cal she's looking forward to develop her passion for the environment and really enjoy the different opportunities available in the upcoming years.
